The STURGIS 1.5 Leather Belt

4 reviews
Belt Size

DESCRIPTION

The 1.5" STURGIS black leather belt carries the colors of Orange and Graphite on premium black bridle leather and lives up to its name. Sturgis was an old Norse name given to the God of Thunder but every American who rides a motorcycle knows what and where it is. If you go, you can look in the leather shops and in every dealership but there is not another company building American leather belts as thick and rugged as ours. We are proud of the STURGIS and it is as tough as my father and his 1948 Panhead was.

HISTORY

Wearing natural leather can have the ability of connecting us to our environment in ways we may not understand. For man, the process of tanning leather with roots and bark from trees goes back to the cave. Thousands of years of evolution physically join man and leather to nature and survival.

CARE

Owning a naturally tanned leather belt is both a privilege and a luxury. After 2 years, condition your leather belt with 2 light coats of 100% pure lanolin, Neatsfoot oil or any other fossil fuel free, high quality conditioner. If ever dirty, clean only with saddle soap. Remember, when it's dry reapply.

    Tough understated belt

These belts are tough, real quality. The thread color is tastefully understated, it looks a bit more vibrant in the pictures, especially the glossy one with the motorcycle. Ignore that pic, the other pictures are a better representation. Color is washed out enough that it won’t clash with anything. Go ahead, get one.
