The ONYX Wide 1.75 Leather Belt

DESCRIPTION

The 1.75" ONYX WIDE was created using black full grain leather stitched with two rows of black thread. We introduced this belt early into our collection due to the fact that the monochromatic look makes a great gun belt style (refer to The Peacemaker in our Gun Collection) as well as an understated fashion piece. Two rows of parachute thread are lockstitched in with a Durkopp Adler heavy duty saddle stitching machine. This German made and engineered machine sews a deep and defined thread. Competitors usually use overseas mass production or "faster machines" which appear to lose stitch definition in our opinion. Our belts get a double thread sewn twice around as well. We feel that a bit of patience on our end seems worth the extra effort. This is proudly part of "What Makes Us Different."

HISTORY

Wearing natural leather can have the ability of connecting us to our environment in ways we may not understand. For man, the process of tanning leather with roots and bark from trees goes back to the cave. Thousands of years of evolution physically join man and leather to nature and survival.

CARE

Owning a naturally tanned leather belt is both a privilege and a luxury. After 2 years, condition your leather belt with 2 light coats of 100% pure lanolin, Neatsfoot oil or any other fossil fuel free, high quality conditioner. If ever dirty, clean only with saddle soap. Remember, when it's dry reapply.
